Captain of Finnish defense forces, Jukka-Pekka Peltonen designs and makes a series of ranger knives known as sissipuukko. J-P Peltonen knife is a master piece of simplicity.
We have been quite impressed with the quality of these. The Fit and finish on these is much nicer then some others we have sold in the past. They did a great job

I purchased the fire kit a few weeks ago to throw in my backpack and have been really impressed. The ferro rod and striker work amazingly well, it throws sparks far better than my store-bought Coghlan’s Magnesium Fire Starter. The included wick and bellows are a great touch. once you fluff the fibers a bit it lights up easily and maintains a flame . i will supplement some of my own tinder to store in tin for later as the "tipi" is only single use
