I purchased the fire kit a few weeks ago to throw in my backpack and have been really impressed. The ferro rod and striker work amazingly well, it throws sparks far better than my store-bought Coghlan’s Magnesium Fire Starter. The included wick and bellows are a great touch. once you fluff the fibers a bit it lights up easily and maintains a flame . i will supplement some of my own tinder to store in tin for later as the "tipi" is only single use

Crafted for the Trail, Built for the Hang
Each strap is 10 feet long and made from ultra-tough polyester webbing rated to 2,000 lbs. The 1.5-inch wide tree-facing portion cushions the bark, while the 1-inch tapered section fits your suspension hardware with ease. Weighing just 4.3 oz each and packing neatly into the included storage bag, these straps are the go-to for serious hammock campers.
